MOGADISHU (RBC Radio) Somali Federal Parliament on Monday sent back the draft bill of the Anti-corruption shortly before the lawmakers begun to debate it.
The Minister of the Justice Hassan Hussein read a presentation about the draft bill to the legislators as he noted that the bill was vital for the country.
The Monday's Parliament session chair, Deputy Speaker Abdiwali Ibrahim Mudey said the draft bill was incomplete and thus not suitable for lawmakers' discussion and therefore informed the Justice Minister Hassan Hussein who attended the session to complete the draft.
MP Dahir Amin Jesow who made a comment of the draft said there were critical pints the draft of the Anti-corruption Bill failed to be included and therefore requested the Minister to further review and send to the parliament the full completed version again.
Parliament second Deputy Speaker Mahad Abdallah Awad announced that parliamentarians could not hold a debate of the draft bill since it lacked key parts resulting the Monday's sitting to agree to send the draft bill of the Anti-corruption back to the proposed ministry.
The Justice Minister agreed to re-table the draft bill once his ministry completes the review again.
